Historic Garden WeekEastern Shore Dogs Received Visitors on April 28th |
|
| Historic Garden Week on the Eastern Shore is a big
time for our area because there is so much history here for people to see.
A couple thousand visitors and residents take our tour each spring on the last
Saturday in April.
Never before (in my lifetime) have three of my close canine friends opened their houses and dog-yards for one Garden Week tour. But so it was for the 2001 tour on April 28th. From time to time (in between naps) on April 28, Bailey Bolovan, Jasmine Kellam, and Bear Papetti conducted tours of their favorite haunts for interested dog lover visitors. |

| After surveying the host of visitors
from her front porch post, Bailey, a spunky West Highland Terrier, was in her
favorite chair in the Bunting Place library.

| Jasmine, a lovely Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, prefers the
comfort of her soft pillows on the Windingdale porch, also spent some time in
the library when the porch got too noisy.

| Bear, a beautiful Golden Retriever, loves his Hummingbird Point
porch lookout, but took his siesta in the peace and quiet of the master bedroom.
